We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and Apple Pay / Google Pay through Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers.
We deliver right across New Zealand at a flat rate: $9.90 within Auckland and $14.90 for the rest of NZ. You can also choose free store pickup in Auckland at checkout.
Choose store pickup at checkout and pick a date from tomorrow onwards. We confirm a time with you, then you collect from our Auckland store.
If your order has not shipped yet, email us as soon as you can and we will do our best to change or cancel it. Once it is on its way, our Returns & Refunds policy takes over.
Yes, and we keep it simple. Faulty or not-as-described items are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act, sale items included. Changed your mind? Send unused items back within 30 days. Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page.

No, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account lets you track your orders and check out faster.
Yes. Every price on MC Bear is in New Zealand dollars and includes 15% GST. The GST portion is shown at checkout.
Yes. Our tents use waterproof fabrics and sealed seams, chosen to stand up to real Kiwi weather, the sideways rain and the surprise southerly included. Each product page lists the specific waterproof rating so you know exactly what you are getting.
Sourced and pre-order items usually arrive within a few weeks. Each product shows an indicative lead time, and we keep you updated by email. If a pre-order runs materially late, you can cancel for a full refund.
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a global leader in secure payments. Your card details are encrypted and never stored on our servers.
Yes. We collect only what we need to fulfil your order, we never sell your details, and we handle everything in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
